History: Amazing Smiles Dental Assisting School was established in 2020 with the mission to make a difference in our community. We want to train assistants to be the very best they can be.

Mission: Our mission is to prepare students to achieve being the best dental assistant they can be. In our program, we help students to work toward a rewarding career in dentistry.

Dr. Jennifer Lauvetz-Enmeier

DIRECTOR

Jennifer has been a practicing Dentist for over twenty years. She attended Creighton University from 1987-1991 studying Biology and then continued her studies at Creighton from 1991-1995 to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Angelica Harry

COO | COURSE DIRECTOR | INSTRUCTOR

Hi, my name is Angelica Harry and I’ve been a dental assistant for over 12 years. My passion is to help people improve their dental health. Also, I want to train people to become the best dental assistants available.

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Assisting the dentist during treatment
  • Taking and developing dental x-rays
  • Taking impressions of patients teeth
  • Communicating with patients (e.g., scheduling, billing, vendor management)
  • Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies
  • Developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Performing office management tasks
  • Discussing medical history and taking vital stats from patients
